RYA START WINDSURFING at Castle Semple Loch, Lochwinnoch

An adult RYA Start Windsurfing course is scheduled for the first weekend of each month from May - September 2010. 
Other dates may be available.

The cost is £160 per person which includes log book, certificate, use of equipment, wetsuit and one year's membership. Payment is required in advance but a full refund is available up to three weeks before the course date. Courses are run over two days on one weekend. Please use the course booking form. This is available once you register with the site and log in.

Fast Forward

http://www.rya.org.uk/Windsurfing/instructors/scheme/fastfwd/ Clyde Windsurfing Club runs RYA Fast FWD windsurfing courses on demand. Check the calendar for dates. These courses will take place over a 6 hour period for introduction to Fast FWD and 3 hour clinics thereafter. FastFWD has fused the fundamental principles of the sport in a unique, memorable and easy applied Formula. The FastFWD FormulaContains five key elements that are supported by some very specific actions and techniques, all of which work right through the levels into many different aspects of the sport. FastFWD is all about learning and developing the Formula and using it as your framework for progression right through your windsurfing career.  

Equipment

The club will provide all windsurfing equipment, wetsuits and buoyancy aids which must be worn in line with RYA policy. Unfortunately due to insurance reasons we can only run the course on club kit. Please bring westuit shoes/boots or a pair of old trainers for your feet. Feel free to wear your own wetsuit if you have one. All courses are run by volunteers who are  RYA qualified instructors and safety boat cover is available. Due to equipment restrictions (10 per course) book early to avoid disappointment

Assessment Only

Any individual who wants to be assessed without the course can do so by arrangement.

Members: £20 per assessment. 
Non Members: £35 per assessment.
